Context Labs Introduces AI Distillery for Sovereign Enterprise AI
Context Labs, a provider of AI-powered data analytics and environmental intelligence software, has introduced AI Distillery, a platform designed to help enterprises develop and operate artificial intelligence systems using data they own.
The offering focuses on sovereign AI, an approach that allows organizations to retain control over their data, infrastructure, and AI operations rather than relying entirely on external providers.
AI Distillery is intended to support the development of AI capabilities tailored to an organization's information and business requirements. The offering is designed around six outcomes: own your IP, own your AI, get trusted answers, build, protect and scale a proprietary competitive asset, gain sovereignty by design, and the freedom of a model choice.
For enterprise IT teams, the approach addresses concerns about data ownership, security, and regulatory compliance as companies expand their use of generative AI.
The AI Distillery works in three steps: distill, package, and prove. It maps an enterprise's structured and unstructured data to industry-specific ontologies, stores the result in a Context Package with cryptographic provenance, and checks answers against the company's own records before any model goes into production.
Sovereign AI platforms offer an alternative by allowing businesses to maintain greater control over the systems processing proprietary information. However, deploying AI within controlled environments does not eliminate requirements for model validation, access management, and ongoing security monitoring.
