ZaiNar Joins Arm Physical AI Ecosystem With Network-Based Location Technology

ZaiNar, a provider of spatial sensing technology for physical AI, has joined Arm Total Design for Physical AI as a founding location partner, bringing network-based positioning technology to the ecosystem for robotics and autonomous machines.

Arm Total Design for Physical AI brings together technology providers across the physical AI stack to simplify development and deployment. ZaiNar plans to optimize its algorithms and signal processing for Arm-based compute platforms.

ZaiNar's software uses existing wireless infrastructure as a positioning sensor rather than requiring additional hardware on individual robots. The company says it can provide sub-10-centimeter positioning indoors, underground, and in GPS-denied locations while operating across Wi-Fi, 5G, and other radio protocols.

The system can deliver location updates between 100 and 500 times per second, according to ZaiNar. The company is targeting three robotics applications: training models using movement data from physical sites, coordinating multiple autonomous machines, and maintaining a persistent location record that new machines can use without independently remapping an environment.
