MAVI Uses AI to Match Finance Teams With Global Talent

MAVI, an AI-driven talent platform for finance and accounting professionals, has launched an AI-driven finance staffing platform that connects U.S. businesses with a network of more than 3,000 pre-vetted finance and accounting professionals.

The platform evaluates candidates based on finance experience, technical capabilities, and working styles, matching those attributes against a company's systems, workflows, culture, and role requirements. MAVI employees then review candidates before presenting a shortlist.

The company said it has received hundreds of thousands of applications and accepts about 2 percent of applicants into its talent network. In 90 percent of completed placements, customers selected one of the first two candidates MAVI recommended.

MAVI also manages onboarding, compliance, and payments after a placement. The company said customers have hired professionals in as few as five days, while its internal comparisons indicate its global staffing model can reduce annual talent costs by 50 percent or more compared with equivalent U.S.-based roles.

The service targets a finance labor market where companies increasingly need workers who can use AI while also reviewing and validating its output.

For enterprise teams, MAVI reflects a broader change in AI-enabled recruiting: algorithms are increasingly being used to narrow specialized talent pools and match candidates to specific technology stacks and workflows, while humans remain involved in final evaluation and hiring decisions.
