Onspring, a provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software, has expanded its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform with a new set of agentic AI capabilities designed to automate routine compliance and risk management tasks while supporting human oversight. As its next phase of Onspring AI, the company is introducing technology that automates workflows and rule-based decisions within the boundaries set by the system administrator (admin).
The new AI features assist with activities such as risk assessments, policy management, control testing, issue tracking and compliance documentation. Rather than functioning as a standalone chatbot, the platform uses AI agents to execute multi-step workflows, analyze organizational data and generate recommendations that compliance and risk professionals can review before taking action.
Onspring AI supports GRC use cases across search, analysis and configuration, powered by Anthropic's Claude. The update offers an AI teammate, autonomous action, audits and analytics with controlled, governed AI.
Onspring said the capabilities are designed to help organizations reduce manual administrative work while improving consistency across GRC programs.
