Cohesity Embeds Data Protection Insights into Enterprise AI Workflows
Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security, has announced the Cohesity Maestro platform with capabilities designed to integrate data protection, cyber resilience and recovery intelligence into enterprise AI workflows. The enhancements enable organizations to incorporate backup, recovery and security information directly into operational processes powered by AI agents and automation platforms.
Built on the open MCP standard, Cohesity Maestro integrates natively with the AI platforms enterprises have already standardized on, including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Google Gemini, without custom integrations or proprietary connectors. With Cohesity Maestro, customers will have native access to Cohesity platform capabilities, including cyber resilience orchestration, telemetry and threat signals, Cohesity Gaia, and Cohesity AI Agents.
According to Cohesity, the updated platform can provide AI systems with access to data protection status, recovery readiness and security insights, allowing organizations to automate responses to incidents and improve decision-making. The goal is to reduce the time required to identify risks, assess recovery options and coordinate remediation activities across IT environments. Cohesity AI agents are available today, along with Cohesity Gaia support for MCP, but the Cohesity Maestro MCP interface and additional agents are expected to be available later this year.
