The conversation about AI and security has focused on the wrong thing. We have been asking whether attackers can use AI to move faster. In this session, we will dissect the anatomy of an autonomous attack, from continuous API reconnaissance through LLM-driven exploit chain reasoning and lateral movement, to polymorphic payload delivery that bypasses legacy WAFs, and then examine why every major component of the traditional AppSec operating model fails against this threat. We will introduce a new model built not on finding vulnerabilities, but on continuously collapsing the set that are simultaneously reachable, breakable, and not yet fixed. Because time-to-exploit is measured in minutes, the only metric that matters is exploitable risk, not vulnerability count.
