Novi AMS Adds AI Layer for Association Data and Workflows

Novi AMS, a provider of association management software for organizations, has launched Amplify, an AI layer embedded in its association management platform that uses customers' live data and association-specific context to support analytics, conversational queries and automated workflows.

Amplify is organized around five areas: Predict, Ask, Connect, Act and Secure. Its Member Health capability evaluates nearly 100 signals to classify members as On Track, At Risk or New Members, while Novi Navigator lets staff query live association data using natural language. Amplify brings that context to a growing set of capabilities that includes machine learning, conversational AI, MCP integrations, AI agents, automation, and fraud protection, all applied to the everyday work of associations.

Novi Connect uses Model Context Protocol to make Novi data and context available to compatible AI tools, including ChatGPT and Claude. Novi Actions, still in development, will prepare outreach, summaries, recommendations, and meeting briefs for employees to review and approve. Amplify is an AI layer that runs throughout Novi AMS, not a standalone chatbot or feature. It brings together predictive machine learning, conversational AI, MCP integrations, automation, AI agents, and fraud protection, all grounded in an association's Novi data and workflows.

For enterprise IT teams, the architecture illustrates a broader shift from generic AI assistants toward systems grounded in application-specific data. MCP provides a standardized connection layer, while keeping organizational context inside the business application can reduce reliance on manual exports and repeated prompting. Amplify is included with standard Novi subscriptions. Member Health and Navigator are available now; Connect is in beta, and Actions remains in development.
