EverestLabs Launches Agentic AI Platform for Material Processing and Recycling Operations
EverestLabs, a provider of AI and robotics technology for materials processing and recycling, has launched Navigator, an agentic AI platform designed to automate and coordinate operations at materials recovery, recycling and other processing facilities.
The platform combines EverestLabs' existing AI-powered material identification and robotic sorting technology with specialized agents that analyze facility data and recommend or initiate operational actions. The system can monitor material flows, equipment performance, and recovery operations while helping employees identify problems and improve plant efficiency. Navigator plugs directly into existing plant control networks and older, legacy equipment without the need for expensive retrofits or halting production.
Navigator is intended to create a shared intelligence layer across equipment that traditionally operates as separate systems. That could allow facilities to coordinate sorting, maintenance and production decisions using real-time operational information rather than relying on isolated dashboards and manual analysis.
For enterprise and industrial IT teams, deployments like this also raise governance requirements beyond those of conventional AI assistants.
