Caddi Launches AI System to Build and Govern Back-Office Agents
Caddi, a provider of AI-powered back-office automation software, has launched an AI agent designed to discover back-office processes and build additional agents to automate them, initially targeting wealth management, legal and insurance firms.
The system analyzes activity across a company's existing applications to identify repetitive processes and rank them by frequency and cost. Employees can then demonstrate selected workflows through Caddi's Loop Studio, where the agent asks questions about ambiguous steps and converts answers into operating rules.
Rather than using AI for every action, Caddi said its agents invoke models when judgment is required and use deterministic code elsewhere. Each execution produces a replayable record, while administrators can view deployed agents centrally. Caddi reports integrations with more than 100 business applications and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
For IT teams, capturing those exceptions during agent development could reduce automation failures after deployment. Centralized auditing is similarly important as organizations move from individual AI assistants toward fleets of agents authorized to perform operational work across multiple business systems. Both the agent and Loop Studio are now available for purchase.
