EKA Recasts Transportation Management Around AI Agents
EKA Solutions, a provider of integrated cloud-based freight management, has introduced a new version of its Omni-TMS transportation management platform that places AI agents at the center of freight operations rather than treating AI as an add-on feature. The platform is designed to automate tasks such as dispatching, document processing, pricing, compliance, and shipment visibility across trucking, brokerage, and shipper environments.
A proprietary AI-powered TMS platform, EKA Omni-TMS, is designed for trucking, broker, logistics, and shipper businesses of all sizes. Unlike other TMS solutions that add AI as an afterthought, EKA Omni-TMS is purposefully built with affordable and proprietary AI as its core, running operations such as dispatch, document handling, pricing, compliance, and real-time on-time load visibility. The software interface is designed for users to manage exceptions and decisions efficiently.
According to EKA, four AI agents are already available, with additional agents planned through 2026. The platform uses a headless, API-first architecture intended to integrate with existing logistics and transportation systems. Planned capabilities include automated load matching, delivery prediction, detention management, and natural-language access to operational data.
