C1 Debuts Autonomous AI Worker for Enterprise Identity Management
Identity security vendor C1 has introduced C1 Autonomous Worker (C1AW), an AI-powered agent designed to automate identity and access management tasks across enterprise environments, as the first AI agent purpose-built for enterprise identity governance. The offering is intended to handle routine identity operations, including access requests, approvals, provisioning, and governance processes, while operating within predefined security and compliance policies.
The platform can check for policy gaps, govern context and execution, and is able to be controlled centrally, with one control plane for every agent. According to the company, the autonomous worker is built to function alongside existing identity infrastructure and can execute tasks through programmatic interfaces rather than traditional human-centric workflows.
The launch builds on C1’s broader strategy of supporting AI agents, non-human identities and automated enterprise operations through centralized governance and authorization controls. C1AW is available today to all C1 customers, enabled by default when the C1 Slack app is installed. Users can link their Slack identity to their C1 account and begin working immediately.
