Anthropic Introduces Finance-Focused AI Agents for Enterprise Workflows
Anthropic has introduced a set of finance-focused AI agents designed to support enterprise workflows in areas such as financial analysis, research, and operational decision-making. The agents are built on the company's Claude AI models and are intended to assist with tasks including document analysis, market research, reporting, and workflow automation. The goal is to help financial organizations streamline information processing while maintaining oversight and governance.
Agents work either as plugins within Claude Cowork or Claude Code. In addition, Anthropic also added new connectors and an MCP app from new partners, including Fiscal AI, Guidepoint, and Verisk, among others. Since the agents work through Claude, which connects to dozens of market data, research platforms, and financial companies’ internal systems, including FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, MSCI, PitchBook, Morningstar, Chronograph, LSEG, and Daloopa, along with firms’ own data warehouses, research repositories, and CRMs, real-time access to market data is easily retrieved.
The agents are designed to integrate with enterprise systems and data sources, enabling users to access and analyze information through conversational interfaces and automated workflows. The company emphasized security and reliability as key requirements for financial use cases. The new financial agents are now available through the Claude marketplace.
