VAST Data Launches Foundation Stacks to Expand Support for NVIDIA AI Blueprints

VAST Data, an AI operating system company, announced expanded support for NVIDIA AI Blueprints with the availability of VAST Foundation Stacks, an open-source library that extends blueprints into implementations. The data platform is designed to integrate with NVIDIA’s reference architectures and software frameworks, enabling enterprises to build and scale AI workloads more efficiently. The integration focuses on providing high-performance data access for model training and inference, which are critical for large-scale AI deployments. The first Foundation Stacks are based on NVIDIA AI Blueprints for Video Search and Summarization and NVIDIA AI-Q as the initial launches. VAST plans to release additional Foundation Stacks in the coming months that include industry-focused examples.

VAST Data’s platform combines storage, data management and analytics capabilities to support AI and high-performance computing environments. By aligning with NVIDIA Blueprints, the company aims to simplify how organizations deploy infrastructure for generative AI and other advanced workloads. Enterprises are increasingly adopting preconfigured AI architectures to reduce the complexity of building infrastructure from scratch. Foundation Stacks will be available through a public GitHub repository with interactive demos and sandbox environments for customers.
