Its digital resilience platform uses data analytics to predict such risks as burnout, turnover, and behavioral health issues, with the goal of preparing employees for growth. The new sparQ service aims to provide additional insights into these patterns and guide effective interventions.

Button, an AI-powered commerce optimization platform, announced the launch of Button for Publishers, a tool designed to help publishers maximize revenue from their commerce partnerships. Button's suite of commerce optimization solutions combines AI, reinforcement learning, route optimization, and mobile deep-linking to offer publishers an AI-powered resource designed to identify the best path to purchase for traffic sent to retailers. Publishers don't need to alter partnership structures or migrate relationships, the company said. Button for Publishers can be utilized with current retailer and affiliate network partnerships. Button's solution consistently delivers a 40% increase in conversions from open web traffic and a 100% increase from social traffic, the company said, and it boosts buyer conversion by identifying broken user experiences and attribution issues.

Socure, provider of an AI-based digital identity verification and fraud prevention platform, launched its latest Document Verification (DocV) solution. This new system is designed to counter the rise of increasingly sophisticated open-source generative AI tools that are making advanced deepfake attacks across various sectors of the digital economy easier and more common. Socure's new solution offers a multi-layered defense approach that detects fraudulent activities in less than two seconds, the company said, without compromising the user experience. This system checks thousands of document signals in real-time and considers various factors like barcode data, device and behavioral intelligence, geolocation, and biometric signals, resulting in high accuracy. The design aims to make it difficult and costly for fraudsters to evade detection, even when using multiple sophisticated techniques in a single attack.

GitLab announced the general availability of Duo Chat, a new generative AI chatbot designed to provide real-time guidance to both advanced software engineers and non-engineers through a conversational interface. Duo Chat, now part of GitLab 16.11, consolidates all of the platform’s AI features into a single natural language interface, connecting DevSecOps lifecycle capabilities. DevSecOps integrates security practices into every phase of the software development process, from coding and testing to delivery and deployment. Duo Chat is part of the Duo Pro add-on, which also includes other AI-enabled features like code suggestions, capable of predictively completing blocks of code within a developer’s coding environment. It's available within the GitLab web interface, GitLab's development environment, and other popular development tools, including VS Code and the JetBrains suite.

Industrial components developer Igus unveiled igusGO, an AI-powered cloud platform designed to automate and streamline the maintenance and production processes for Industry 4.0. It allows users to simply take a picture of the asset they want to optimize and the app The app uses AI to instantly identify optimization opportunities for designers using motion plastics. The platform also shows where there is more potential to improve a machine's technology, and reduce costs at the same time, the company said. The igusGo AI currently identifies more 130 use cases that are constantly being expanded. The company cited 3D printing, automobiles, boats, offices, bicycles, airplanes, instruments, kitchen appliances, agriculture, furniture, and robots, as examples. Each use case can contain sub-cases, the company said, so users can display the optimization potential for over 450 use cases.

Amazon Music launched a new feature called Maestro designed to compete with Spotify's AI Playlist by allowing users to create customized playlists from text prompts. The music streaming app's AI-powered function enables users to build playlists by entering simple text inputs. Available on both iOS and Android apps, Maestro uses natural language processing to generate playlists based on user requests. Listeners can ask for a playlist with prompts like, "Create a playlist for a housewarming with quiet songs suitable for people with sensory issues." Maestro then creates a playlist that aligns with the given criteria. The feature also understands emojis and can even generate playlists from prompts that contain only emojis. Currently in beta, Maestro is only accessible to Amazon Music users in the United States. It is available to both Free users and those with Prime and Unlimited subscriptions.

Oracle's Financial Services group introduced an AI-powered cloud service designed to help banks combat money laundering. The Oracle Financial Services Compliance Agent offers hypothetical scenario testing, allowing banks to evaluate transactions and identify potentially suspicious activities. Compliance Agent creates "what if" scenarios, enabling banks to test the efficiency of their transaction monitoring systems on new financial products. Users can modify test thresholds, providing flexibility to assess various risk levels and to analyze the effectiveness of controls such as transaction limits. Oracle noted that financial institutions face considerable challenges when dealing with financial crimes due to the cost and complexity involved in handling cases. The Compliance Agent is intended to be cost-effective and supplies banks with tools to gather evidence for business decisions. It also helps improve the accuracy of transaction monitoring systems by identifying emerging patterns of suspicious activity, keeping pace with evolving risk trends.

Dataminr, a real-time event and risk detection company, announced the launch of a new generative AI service called ReGenAI, which was designed to automatically regenerates text descriptions as events unfold. ReGenAI uses predictive AI to analyze and synthesize key developments from more than one million public data sources, condensing what the company refers to as "multidimensional events" into concise event briefs that update dynamically. This new AI-powered service allows customers to quickly understand evolving events and respond more effectively. ReGenAI will be initially released to Dataminr Pulse customers on April 30, integrating events of global significance and broad global scope. Dataminr intends to expand ReGenAI to a wider scale in future releases, adding richer event context, customized impact assessments, and recommended customer actions.
