Netzilo AI Edge Platform Updated for Shadow AI for Detection and Governance

Netzilo, a next-gen AI security provider, has introduced updates to detect Shadow AI as an addition to its AI Edge Platform, an MCP tool designed to help organizations detect and manage activity across enterprise systems. The platform provides visibility into unauthorized or unmanaged AI tools being used within corporate environments, along with governance controls to regulate how those tools access data. The system also includes detection and response capabilities intended to help security teams identify and mitigate risks associated with unsanctioned AI usage. Netzilo AI Edge gives enterprises the visibility to understand AI, control MCP tools and detect and respond to AI native threats, in a single unified platform.

By incorporating model context protocol (MCP) tooling to manage interactions between AI systems and enterprise data sources, the goal is to give organizations greater control over how AI applications are deployed and used across distributed environments. Security teams are increasingly concerned about shadow AI, as employees adopt generative AI tools without formal oversight. Netzilo AI Edge, with its new update, is now available to enterprises seeking secure, scalable deployments for AI technologies.
