Ironclad Adds AI Assistant and Agents to Expand Contract Intelligence
Ironclad, an AI contracting company, has introduced an artificial intelligence assistant and a set of AI agents designed to help organizations manage and analyze contracts more efficiently. The new tools enable users to extract key information from agreements, answer questions about contract terms and automate routine legal workflows. The AI assistant is intended to help legal and business teams interact with contract data more directly, while agents can perform tasks such as reviewing documents and tracking obligations. The Ironclad Assistant allows teams to conversationally interact with contracts, signed or in motion, by asking complex questions and receiving grounded answers. The assistant tracks data, summarizes risks and can initiate workflow-native agents.
In addition to the Ironclad Assistant, three other agents were also launched. These include Renewal Agent, Cost Savings Agent and Archive Agent. Ironclad focuses on contract lifecycle management software used by enterprises to create, negotiate and manage agreements. The new AI capabilities are designed to integrate into existing workflows and improve how organizations handle large volumes of contracts. Legal teams are increasingly adopting AI tools to streamline contract review and reduce manual work.
