Digital.ai Acquires Numerify for AI Analytics and Experitest for Continuous Quality

Digital.ai, the Plano, Texas-based company that resulted from the merging of CollabNet VersionOne, XebiaLabs, and Arxan Technologies, has added two more companies to the mix: Numerify, an AI analytics solutions firm, and Experitest, a continuous quality provider.

Digital.ai was formed earlier this year to combine business agility, software delivery, and application security into a single integrated value stream platform. The platform integrates disparate tools and processes across value streams and uses data and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) to create connective tissue among them. The company's goal is to provide enterprises with real-time, contextual insights for their digital transformations, and enable them to produce "enhanced business outcomes."

By streamlining processes across teams and providing continuous feedback loops throughout the development lifecycle, Digial.ai introduces "a new level of connectivity, visibility, and security into the software development lifecycle," the company said in a statement.

The company's latest acquisitions, which were backed by TPG Capital, bring AI-powered business analytics and secure, integrated continuous testing capabilities to the Digital.ai Value Stream Platform, the company said, "making it the most complete end-to-end value stream management (VSM) solution in the industry." Digial.ai competes with such DevOps platform vendors as Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab and CloudBees.

Numerify is a market-leading AI-powered business analytics provider for Global 2000 IT organizations. Its System of Intelligence platform was built "from the ground up" using the company's cloud automation and code generation methods to enable the agile, data-ops-oriented approach that underlies its solutions.

"Numerify's analytics solutions are customer-focused, platform-driven, and designed to be up and running quickly," said Numerify Gaurav Rewari, CEO, in a statement. "We look forward to combining our technology with the Digital.ai Value Stream Platform to help customers rapidly identify and address pain points in development and business value streams and improve business outcomes."

The Experitest continuous testing platform was designed to enable organizations to rapidly release better quality digital applications to the market, the company says. Its SeeTest SaaS-based platform enables Web and mobile application testing across more than 2,000 browsers and real mobile devices, and under real end-user conditions. The platform includes functional and visual test automation, manual testing, and performance testing, and seamlessly integrates with tools throughout the DevOps pipeline (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Jenkins, Eclipse, XCUITest, Espresso and more).

"Our continuous quality solutions are the perfect complement to Digital.ai's Agile planning, app security, and continuous release capabilities," said Tal Barmeir, CEO of Experitest. "When embedded into the development value stream, Experitest quickly determines root causes of quality issues, enabling enterprises to streamline IT processes while improving quality and business performance."
