Biomedical Machine Learning Framework Adds Ease of Use, Optimization Tools

Boston, Mass.-based BioSymetrics last week released a new component for its Augusta AI biomedical machine learning framework that adds several new features for end users.

Called Augusta Architect, the add-on features a "simple syntax that allows users to quickly process and integrate multiple, diverse data types and run or compare multiple ML algorithms," the company said.

It also "eliminates the need to port data from system to system" and "maintains data integrity and eliminates error prone steps," the company said.

"Augusta Architect uniquely allows optimization of the entire data science workflow, from per-processing to machine learning," said Gabriel Musso, chief scientific officer for BioSymetrics, in a prepared statement. "Data scientists can devote more of their time to building effective models, and have more confidence in their quest to bring new drugs to market, make faster and more accurate diagnoses, and improve patient outcomes."

Augusta Architect is designed to work with the two other modules that make up the Augusta machine learning framework: Augusta Pre-Processing and Augusta ML. It is now live. More information on all three can be found here.
